In broad terms I am a web developer of almost 10 years. My preferred technologies are Javacsript-based: React, Node, Express and good ole Vanilla Javascript. I have also used Electron in various applications, that required a desktop component.
I am a married father of two, living in Central Michigan. I grew up in the construction trades, before diving into the web dev pool. I've always had a real love for the tech world, learning how things work behind the scenes and making it work for myself.
HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap and Material-UI are my go-to for clean and responsive interfaces.
Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and Fireworks for basic prototyping.
Javascript, React (Redux or Context for state), Node, Express, Mongo DB, MySQL, PHP, WordPress, and Shopify.
React Native and Java/Kotlin are my current focus regarding mobile.
Working with clients across the country to find solutions to their online business needs. From basic static HTML/CSS websites to full web and desktop applications. My main focus has always been web technologies, Javascript-based for the most part: Vanilla JavaScript, Node, React (Redux or Context for state management), Web Sockets (Socket IO), MongoDB, MySQL, and PHP.
My main responsibility is working with popular front-end technologies to create and maintain web applications, along with a team of other front-end and back-end developers. These applications created are for internal production systems. The main technologies I use in this position are HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, Javascript, Angular, React.
I managed content for various web properties, built on the WordPress platform. I was also responsible for video/photo editing, implementing processes of batch editing that are compatible across all properties; and generally streamlining content management processes that are easily integrated throughout various teams.
